HMK Bilcon A/S has achieved an EcoVadis Silver rating

With a score of 79 out of 100 up from 62 points last year, we now rank among the top 7% of the more than 130,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.

EcoVadis is one of the world’s most recognised platforms for assessing corporate sustainability performance. The rating covers four areas, and our results break down as follows:

▪ Environment: 87/100
▪ Sustainable Procurement: 82/100
▪ Ethics: 79/100
▪ Labour & Human Rights: 73/100

Behind this progress lies a year of systematic work: new policies covering environment, procurement and human rights, a Supplier Code of Conduct, measurable KPIs across the organisation, and employee training.

For our customers in the defence industry and fuel transport sector the rating means that the documentation of our sustainability performance has been assessed and verified by an independent third party. It is available directly through the EcoVadis platform as part of any supplier evaluation.

This result was achieved by the entire organisation from the production floor in Gistrup to the office and management. A special thanks to Jakob Sigismund, who has driven the process.
