Following the publication of our first ESG report last year, we are now pleased to present our ESG Report for 2025. The report provides insight into the development of our environmental, social and governance initiatives, as well as the results and improvements achieved throughout the year.
2025 has been characterised by a high level of activity, particularly within the defence sector, where increased investments and a growing need for fuel logistics and fuel distribution solutions have contributed to continued strong demand for HMK Bilcon’s products.
One of our key focus areas this year has been improving the quality of our climate data. More accurate data provides a stronger basis for prioritising initiatives that deliver the greatest impact. As part of this effort, we have made a significant advancement in our Scope 3 emissions calculations by replacing spend based average factors with product specific LCA and EPD data that more accurately reflects the actual material consumption of our products.
The report also outlines a range of concrete improvements within energy efficiency, occupational health and safety, quality management, information security and responsible business practices, as well as our objectives and ambitions for the years ahead.
