HMK Bilcon A/S obtains ISO 27001 certification. An important step for cyber security.

In line with the increasing cyber threat against Danish companies, we have worked hard in the past year to increase our IT security.

This has resulted in us implementing and being certified in the management system ISO 27001 within cyber and information security. ISO 27001 is an internationally recognized standard for information security, which sets strict requirements for the implementation and maintenance of an effective information security management system (ISMS). The requirements are close to the requirements set in the NIS2 directive.

Top priority in 2024
The ISO 27001 certification has had top priority from the management in 2024, and the necessary resources were therefore allocated to raise the security level considerably.

In the coming time, we will also make greater demands on our suppliers and business partners in relation to IT security.

Together with our ISO 9001, 3834-2, 14001 and DIN 2303 certifications, the ISO 27001 certification is also an important competitive parameter, as we experience increasing demands from customers within compliance in many more areas. We are now better prepared for the future.
