The Danish, Aalborg based company HMK Bilcon has sold a minority stake to Dansk Ejerkapital, one of Denmark’s oldest and most active private equity funds.
HMK Bilcon A/S manufactures a wide range of tanker solutions for the supply of various types of fuel, special solutions for the defense sector, and mobile hospitals and clinics for the healthcare sector etc. All made possible at HMK Bilcon’s production facilities in Aalborg. HMK Bilcon currently employs more than 100 people.
Originally founded in 1895, HMK Bilcon has since 2017 been under the leadership of CEO Peter Jensby and since 2021 COO Frederik Bach Nielsen – both minority owners of HMK Bilcon. Now Dansk
Ejerkapital has bought a significant minority stake of the company, with the current leadership continuing in this new set up.
