Drawbar fuel trailers
Description
Drawbar fuel trailers from HMK Bilcon are constructed for the Danish market with three or four axles on the chassis, depending on the transportation needs of the entire vehicle combination. The trailer is used for distribution in local areas, where the drawbar fuel trailer serves as an external storage unit, transferring the fuel from the trailer to the tanker truck over two stages.
We manufacture trailers with high-quality aluminum tanks. The front part of the chassis is made from hot-dip galvanized steel, while the rear part is welded in aluminum. This results in a low unladen weight for the trailer, allowing for the transportation of maximum fuel in a single trip. The most common trailer configuration typically includes two front axles and two rear axles, with the option of a lift on the third axle.
Our three-axle drawbar fuel trailers typically hold from 18,000 to 26,000 liters, while the four-axle ones accommodate from 26,000 to 45,000 liters. The three-axle trailers are commonly used in combination with a four-axle tanker truck, while the four-axle trailer is used with a three-axle tanker truck. All our tank trailers are approved for the transportation of LGBF fuel in accordance with ADR regulations.
The fuel trailer is often constructed in a box profile to ensure optimal stability during transportation. They can be built with or without a dome frame, containing from one to six compartments, depending on the requirements.
With over 50 years of experience in constructing tank trailers, you receive a product of the highest quality, well-tested, and designed for a long lifespan.
