FMV (Försvarets Materielverk) has signed an agreement with HMK Bilcon A/S for the supply of fuel tank trucks and trailers to the Swedish Armed Forces. The fuel tankers, which are adapted to transport of petrol, diesel and jet fuel, will increase the Armed Forces’ ability to transport fuel. The fuel tank trucks and trailers will be able to transport approximately 57 cubic meters of fuel per trip.

The agreement refers to deliveries of fuel tank trucks and trailers, documentation, spare parts, and training. It also includes options for additional fuel tank trucks and trailers. The scope of the agreement, including options, amounts to approximately SEK 500 million.

Deliveries to the Swedish Armed Forces will begin in 2024 and be completed in 2026.
